Qantas Announces Revised Terminal Fees Effective 21 May 2018

Dear AFIF Member,

Qantas has issued their Schedule of Updated Terminal Service Fees. (link below)

Note there is a New Fee - Temperature Sensitive Handling Fee applicable to Export and Import ULDs which require special handling.

AFIF contacted Colin Hughes, Head of Freight Operations to clarify applicability of the new Fee.

"The import and export temperature sensitive handling fee ($60 per unit) does not apply to traditional perishable units held in the cool room. The fee is only applicable for special handling requirements in place for Envirotainer type units. Let me know if you have any further questions."
